Spawned from that program, Marques became the Founder and CEO of Urban Matrix One, which utilizes satellite technology, unique data sets and machine learning to quantify financial, social and climate related impact for global infrastructure projects. After writing a PhD proposal focused on Cyborg Anthropology, Marques decided to accept an invitation to participate in the Global Solutions Program hosted by Singularity University and NASA. Marques received his Masters from Linköping University in Adult Learning and Global Change. With an RFID chip internally implanted, Marques is a cyborg with a deep passion for ancestral wisdom, recognizing patterns and creating personal and communal transformation in sync with the natural world. During this time, Marques has gained a plethora of knowledge and expertise at the nexus of indigenous wisdom, modern technology and future communities. Through this mission, he has traveled to over 81 countries and developed on-site programs in 21 of those countries. Seeking to be globally impactful, Marques created the World Education Foundation in 2009. She is also the author of the book, "Hidden India: Journey to Where the Wild Things Are" (April 2018), a compendium of photographs and writing about Indian wildlife and landscapes.Marques Anderson is a world builder, thought leader and Cyborg Anthropologist working in the public and private sector. Shloka has a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and a BSc in Government from The London School of Economics and Political Science. She was also formerly a speechwriter at the House of Lords (UK) and founded the Research and Studies Programme for Gateway House, a foreign policy think tank in Mumbai. In 2014, Shloka served as Campaign Manager for Meera Sanyal, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Candidate for Mumbai (South), for India's General Elections. In 2010, Shloka was nominated for India's highest awards in journalism for her reportage on microfinance in India. She has spent over a decade in journalism with the BBC in London, as a news anchor with New Delhi Television (NDTV) and Principal Correspondent with Forbes in Mumbai, with a special emphasis on financial inclusion, sustainability and public policy. Shloka is also an active angel investor in social enterprises and has mentored organizations across sectors. Prior to this, Shloka co-founded and was the Managing Partner of Sankhya Women Impact Funds, a gender lens fund with a focus on sustainability. She is also the Executive Director of the India Climate Collaborative, an India-led platform founded in 2018 by a group of philanthropies interested in continuing to accelerate India’s development, while also exceeding its climate goals. As head of Policy and Advocacy, Shloka holds a critical responsibility in advancing the Trusts' key strategic and policy priorities for greater impact through strong relationships and external liaison with government, relevant industry organisations as well as close work with development sector leaders. As head of Sustainability, she is focused on the organization’s work on climate, energy and environment, implementing and funding sustainable and scalable solutions that help both people and nature thrive through India. Shloka Nath currently leads the Sustainability and Policy & Advocacy portfolios at the Tata Trusts, one of India’s leading philanthropic foundations.
